Our rendering of this traditional variety is known for its impenetrable, ruby red color, with a pleasant fruity fragrance and the taste of blackberries and dried plums. Its aftertaste is dominated by velvety tannins and cinnamon. This wine is rooted in its healthy grapes and careful processing.
In crafting this Blaufränkisch, we started with well-ripened grapes that simply could not have been healthier. We handled them with great care to preserve their intense fruitiness and terroir. Our goal was to produce a full-bodied, fruity Blaufränkisch suitable for both immediate consumption and archiving. I believe we have succeeded in this endeavor. I am confident that this wine will appeal to lovers of Moravian red wines.
